Coach White is a proud alumna of Union Grove High School, where she was a four-year varsity athlete and lettered in volleyball, basketball and track. As a senior she was honored as Most Athletic by her peers.
She earned a full athletic scholarship to the University of North Alabama, where she played basketball while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. She later earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from the University of West Georgia and a Specialist Degree in Special Education from Kennesaw State University.
Coach White began coaching in 2016 under the mentorship of Dock Gammage. She served as JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach for basketball for seven years and held the same dual roles in volleyball for five years. In 2023 she was part of the staff that won a State Championship in volleyball at Sandy Creek High School. In 2024 she returned to her alma mater as Head Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach.
Her goal is to help players reach their full potential on and off the court, and to give them insight into the recruiting process and the logistics of collegiate athletics. She believes in discipline, teamwork and the idea that it takes a village to develop young athletes, and she hopes to build a culture where every player feels loved, supported, challenged and inspired to grow.
